Interpupillary Distance and Inter-inner Canthal Distance of Koreans

Abstract
|
|
|
The authors statistically analysed a normal variation of the interpupillary distance and interinner canthal distance on 1370 normal persons of Koreans. 1) In interpupillary distance, average value was 41. 05±4.41mm in newborn 62. 70±4.74mm (peak value) in twenties, and 61.7±5.34mm over fifties. 2) In inter-inner canthal distance, average value was 22.77± 3.15mm in newborn, 37.46± 4 53mm (peak value) between the 13 and 19 years of age, and 36. 19±4. 39mm over fifties.
3) The normal range of those should be separately elucidated according to sex and age groups.
